Who I am

I coach people who
want to feel like
themselves again.

I’m Samuel, a coach based in Canberra. Most of the people I work with sit at a desk all day, have a job that takes most of their time and energy, and have gradually put on five or ten kilos they’d like to shift.

That's not a discipline problem. You've got a demanding role, a commute, and probably a family. Almost every plan you'll find online quietly assumes you have two spare hours a day and nothing else going on.

I train and compete naturally, so I know what the process actually costs. But the more useful part for you: I know how to build a plan that survives a fifty-hour week, a lunch meeting, and a Tuesday that falls apart. Three or four sessions a week, done properly, is enough.

The method

Built for the time
you actually have.

Four principles that make training work around a full-time job instead of competing with it.

01 — TIME-EFFICIENT

Fits the time you’ve got

Sessions built to run 45–60 minutes and still drive progress. No six-day splits, no two-hour marathons, nothing that collapses the first week work gets busy.

02 — EVIDENCE FIRST

Science over noise

Programming driven by what the training literature actually supports — progressive overload, effective volume, proximity to failure — not whatever's trending this week.

03 — INDIVIDUALISED

Built around your week

Your plan is shaped by your schedule, your gym access, your travel and your starting point. Nutrition that works with client lunches and late dinners, not against them.

04 — ACCOUNTABLE

Someone’s expecting you

Most people don’t quit because the plan was wrong. They quit because nobody noticed they stopped. In person that’s a booked session you can’t quietly skip, technique fixed on the spot, and someone pushing the set you’d have cut short. Online it’s weekly check-ins and video review. Either way, your numbers are being watched.

Honest fit check

Is this you?

Have an honest look at both columns. If we’re not a match, far better we work that out now than three months down the track.

A good fit

  • You've got a desk job and 5–10kg you want gone — and you want muscle underneath it
  • You can commit to a couple of sessions a week, most weeks
  • You're done guessing and want a structured plan built around your schedule
  • You've started before, lost momentum, and want it to stick this time

Not a fit

  • You want a six-week shortcut or a quick fix
  • You won't track your training or pay attention to what you eat
  • You expect results without changing any habits
  • You're not willing to commit for at least 12 weeks

FAQ

Straight answers.

I barely have time — how much does this take?

For most of my clients it’s two or three sessions a week, 45 to 60 minutes each. That’s the whole ask. Everything is built to fit the time you’ve actually got, because a plan you can’t sustain is worthless no matter how good it looks on paper.

I haven't trained properly in years.

That's who this is built for. Starting from a low base is an advantage, not a problem — progress comes faster early on, and we build technique and habits from scratch rather than unpicking bad ones.

What if I travel for work?

We plan for it. Your program includes options for hotel gyms and minimal equipment, and nutrition is set up so travel weeks don't undo the previous three.

How do I handle work lunches and dinners out?

You don't avoid them. We build your intake so eating out fits inside the plan — that's the difference between something that lasts and another diet you quit in a month.

Do I need a gym?

A gym makes it easier, but programs are built around whatever you've got — full commercial gym, apartment setup, or a hotel room.

Online or in person?

Both are available. Online runs through Trainerize and works anywhere. In-person is at World Gym Belconnen in Canberra, and includes the same programming and check-ins between sessions.

How long until I see results?

Commit to 12 weeks minimum. You'll notice changes in strength and energy well before that, but real, visible change to your body takes months — and what you build slowly is what you keep.

What does it cost?

It depends which option fits you, so pricing comes once I understand your goal and schedule. Apply or grab the free guide first — we'll cover it on the call.
